Ophoven Saw Service was established in 1950.  A sole proprietorship providing a tool sharpening service in the metro area.  In an era when steel saw blades, handsaws, and high speed steel tooling was predominant it took fine craftsmanship and a keen sense for quality to keep these tools cutting properly.  As the woodworking industry evolved into the technology that it has become today with extended life carbide, diamond, and insert tooling becoming predominant, Ophoven Saw Service has grown right along.  Using the most advanced sharpening equipment and trained expertise we promise the same quality, value, and service that has been our trademark for more than seventy years and three generations.  Our goal is simple, to provide our customers with the highest quality sharpening service and tooling values in the industry.
